This Interxion customer portal service (“Customer Portal Service”) facilitates and improves the administration of certain services (e.g. temporary access, deliveries, removals, hands & eyes) provided by Interxion to its customers. The Customer Portal Service is accessible for the customer contacts (“you”) as registered by the Customer at the local Interxion entity (“Interxion”) as stated below under the heading “Contact”. The Customer Portal Service is offered by such local Interxion entity and operated by InterXionHead Quarters B.V. located at Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands. You can also access Interxion news via the Customer Portal Service.
It is Interxion’s priority to secure that the processing of your personal data complies with the applicable data protection laws. InterXion HeadQuarters B.V. and the local Interxion entity - with whom the Customer registered - will act as data controllers within the meaning of the applicable data protection legislation.
Interxion reserves the right to modify this Privacy Statement at any time and you should review it each time you use the Customer Portal Service. Your continued used of any portion of the website following notification or posting of such changes will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
Your personal data will be gathered, processed, and used in accordance with the data protection laws as follows:
- Concept of Personal Data
Personal data encompasses any information about an identified or identifiable natural person, e.g. your own personal information such as name and username, address, and, as the case may be, the IP-address of your computer. Insofar as information cannot reasonably be related to you – e.g. the information about the popularity of individual websites in our offering or the number of users of a website – it is not conceived to be personal data.
- Gathering and Processing of your Personal Data
When visiting our Customer Portal Service website, our web servers save, on a temporary basis, by default for the purpose of ensuring system security the connection data of the querying computer, our web sites you visit, the date and duration of the visit, the identification data of the browser and operating system type used as well as the referring URL. Such data will be deleted following the end of the connection.
In connection with your registration, we gather your given name and surname, the user name that you choose, the country that you entered, your preferred language and the field of interest (e.g. cloud computing or digital media) stated by you. Interxion uses such data to personalize the Customer Portal Service website, e.g. to display your name and to offer you information and news regarding your fields of interests in your language in the Customer Portal Service. Apart from that, Interxion uses your personal data for the provision of the Customer Portal Service website and for the processing of your requests, and hence, to perform the contract concluded between Interxion and the customer. Interxion will not use the data for other purposes.
- Transfer of your PerSonal Data to Third Parties
We do not transfer your personal data to third parties, neither for valuable consideration nor free of charge, save as this is necessary for the performance of the contract or if we consider such transfer necessary for the performance of our business interests. If such transfers entails a transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area then we ensure that such transfer will be surrounded with adequate safeguards.
- Security of your PersOnal Data
Interxion undertakes all technical and organizational measures that are required by the applicable law in order to protect your personal data from loss and misuse. Your personal data is encrypted by 128-bit Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL) during transmission provided that your browser supports such encryption. Interxion ensures that any party engaged by it and which party is processing personal data on its behalf in the context of the services provided via the Customer Portal Service website, will implement technical and organizational security measures against the loss of personal data and any form of unlawful processing.

Upon your request, we are happy to inform you which personal data (e.g. username, name, etc.) we process about you and for which purpose(s) we do so. Upon your request and free of charge, you are entitled to rectify any incorrect personal data related to you. We will need to identify you before your request can be processed by us.
